An important thing to note is that this is intended for if you need compositing help and adjusting/cropping your feed. All compositing otherwise can be done natively within the suite.

Integrating Mosaic into OBS Studio

  1. Download and Install OBS Studio: Visit https://obsproject.com/ and download the latest version for your operating system. Follow the installation instructions.

  2. Create a New Scene: In OBS Studio, click the "+" button under the "Scenes" section to create a new scene.

  3. Add a Browser Source: Click the "+" button under the "Sources" section and select "Browser".

  4. Paste the Output Feed: Paste the output feed with graphics URL of one of the screens ('Screen One', 'Screen 2', etc) from Vixi Mosaic into the "URL" field of the browser source.

  5. Adjust Settings:

    • Size and Position: Adjust the size and position of the browser source to fit your scene.

    • Crop: Use the crop tool to remove unwanted feed parts if necessary.

    • Resize: Scale the feed to the desired size while maintaining the aspect ratio.

  6. Fine-Tune Your Scene:

    • Add more sources like text overlays, logos, or images.

    • Adjust opacity, scaling, and positioning for each source.

    • Use transitions and filters to enhance your stream's visual appeal.

  7. Play it Out
    • Now, it's time to protect your display. Right-click on your source, hover over "Full Projector (Source)," and select one of the sources.

    • This will put the feed into full-screen mode

    • From here, you're ready to start your show!

Additional Tips:

  • Encourage fans to submit photos for the Mosaic.

  • Customize the Mosaic layout and appearance to match your event's theme.
