i. Ensure Hardware Acceleration in Chrome
1. Open Chrome
2. Open the menu in the top right corner by clicking on the three dots
3. Click Settings near the bottom
4. Under the System section, ensure "Use hardware acceleration when available" is turned on. If it's disabled, Enable it and then select Relaunch
ii. Force GPU Rendering in Chrome
1. Enter chrome://flags/ in the Chrome address bar and press Enter
2. Search for and enable "Override software rendering list" to force GPU rendering
3. Search for and enable "GPU rasterization" for improved performance in rendering mixed reality visuals
4. After making these changes, click Relaunch in the bottom right corner
iii. Configure Chrome to Use the NVIDIA GPU
1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking on your desktop
2. Select Manage 3D Settings from the sidebar
3. Go to the Program Settings tab
4. From the list of programs, find Google Chrome or add it manually if it’s missing
5. Set High-performance NVIDIA processor as the preferred GPU for Chrome
6. Click Apply to save the settings
iv. Verify GPU Usage in Chrome
1. In Chrome, type chrome://gpu/ in the address bar and press Enter
2. Check the GPU status page to confirm that Chrome is using your NVIDIA GPU for hardware acceleration
