Vixi Suite Guide: Collecting and Downloading User Data

Step 1: Setting Up a User Submission Page

  1. Navigate to the Product and Submission Page:

    • First, navigate to the product you are working on, such as Photo Magic, Mosaic, or others.

    • Then, go to the "Edit Phone Graphics" page.

    • You’ll find the Submission Page, where users will enter their information.

  2. Customize Submission Fields:

    • Ensure that the necessary fields (e.g., "Enter your message," "Name") are present and appropriately labeled.

    • Depending on the data you want to collect, you can edit placeholder text and add new input fields (like email, phone number, or other custom fields).

  3. Save Your Changes:

    • Click "Save & Exit" to finalize any edits to your submission form.


Step 2: Collecting User Data

  • Users will access the Submission Page on their mobile devices during the event to input their information.

  • Once they click "Submit," their data is securely stored within Vixi for that product instance.


Step 3: Downloading User Data

  1. Access Application Stats:

    • After your event, log into your Vixi admin dashboard.

    • Navigate to the "Application Stats" section tied to the specific product (Photo Magic, Mosaic, etc.).

  2. Download User Submissions:

    • In the stats view, look for the option to "Download CSV".

    • Click this to download all user submissions in a CSV file, which you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis tools.

    • You can also choose the range of dates that you would like to select from


Notes:

  • Please always let users know what data is being collected and how it will be used (e.g., via a privacy policy or disclaimer on the submission page).

  • You can customize submission fields to align with your event goals, such as collecting messages for display, names for shoutouts, or emails for future contact.
